I've done the icon truth meme 3 times before, and they seemed like fun, so I'll do it again.
If you want to see the first three, they are here:
- part one
- part two
- part three

Comment with your username and people will comment with what they feel about your icons. COMMENT TO THOSE PEOPLE ANONYMOUSLY, even if it's good or bad. Feel free to use examples, but please try not to hotlink. If you need to, use a regular link to an image.
Of course you don't have to comment anonymously, but I would strongly suggest it.

Anon is on and IP tracking is off. So, TELL EVERYONE TO PARTICIPATE!

And please don't be rude when commenting, there is a difference between constructive and destructive criticism. Also, even if you feel like you're not the best icon maker, please comment anyway, or comment to other people. This is supposed to help people grow, and see their strengths and weaknesses.

(If no one comments to this or anything, I will be so sad)

I love what you can do with textures. I can always tell if an icon is yours because they're always unique, but they still have your signature on them.

I really really like your icons. The crazy crazy contrast and saturation rocks my socks and I love the way you can tell that they're yours, even when you're not told :P

Umm... I don't love your use of the blurry light textures as much as you obviously do. :P

Sometimes I worry that you're not getting better as an iconmaker. Looking at some of your slightly older iconposts I am absolutely blown away, whereas the latest couple have been like "yeah, they're great... but they're not better or equal to a couple of months ago"

I do think you overdo it sometimes with the brightness and bright glow spots, but I think it just makes your stuff that much more distinctive. It's absolutely impossible to mistake your icons for someone else's.

I love your icons.
Your colors are always full and original. And the composition is great.
I love to scroll your batches because aren't boring or repetitive, but always interesting.

I think the best thing about your icons is that they're all so different and they look like you had fun making them. Sometimes you overdo the contrast a bit, or the cropping doesn't really stand out, but overall you're a good icon-maker and I like that you try so many things.

You've improved so much over the past...I don't know, year or so? I think you've really found your style and are doing fun, interesting things with it. I love the way you've transformed your desire for bright bright colors into something that works with the image, rather than that whole blue/orange contrast thing you used to do a lot. I love the bright colors in your icons now!

As a result of having such bold, interesting icons, you sometimes miscalculate and apply a texture or coloring that does weird things to the subject of the icon, changing the mood or image in ways that don't quite fit - I'm thinking of, for example, things like icon 5 in your most recent post. But it's okay, because you're taking risks and trying things, and I think that is far more valuable than getting it just right every time. Good on you for being so brave and creative!

sometimes, your coloring and contrast are a little too sharp for my tastes, but your icons are more often than not fantastic and i love them. you're the only one who can get away with super contrast-y and bright icons.

I love your icons but sometimes they're a bit overpowering. I wouldn't want you to change your style though as it's definitely a style all your own and they're not necessarily bad, just often times icons I personally wouldn't use.

I like your icons, especially your use of colour and black. Occasionally they're too contrasted, or the colouring is overpowering, or the icon is too busy. But overall, they're very nice and original.

I love the vast amount of things you icon. And the cropping and bright coloring are great. But sometimes the subject gets a bit lost when there's too much contrast and white in an icon.
